JUST FOR FUN
Not all illustrations need to be serious: sometimes inspiration allows artistic license. Here you will find works of art born from imagination: light-hearted concepts, tounge in cheek, ironic mash-ups or simple “what ifs” that I enjoyed creating.
Although ironic, these works are still based on respect: a way to celebrate Martin Clunes with warmth and affection, showing that admiration can be fun as well as respectful.

This is the piece I had the most fun creating:
Star Trek - The New Captain.
I've loved Star Trek since I was a teenager and wanted to dream up a new series starring our beloved characters...
"Space: the final frontier.
These are the voyages of the starship Enterprise.
Its five‑year mission: to explore strange new worlds,
to seek out new life and new civilizations,
to boldly go where no Cornish GP has gone before!"

While browsing the web, I stumbled across the work of Steve Payne, an exceptional artist who digitally reimagines the faces of George Dawe's Russian generals from the Military Gallery of the Winter Palace by replacing them with contemporary celebrities.
I was captivated by the military portraits of icons like Robert De Niro, Jack Nicholson, Brad Pitt, Leonardo DiCaprio, and many others.
Yet, amidst this gallery of legends, I noticed a glaring omission: one of the most important figures of all ... General Martin Clunes.
So, I took it upon myself to correct
this hystorical error...
and it became my favourite artwork of all!

“I imagined Martin Clunes catapulted into the world of Jurassic Park, but with a twist. Instead of terror, there are cuddles; instead of screams, there are smiles. Because, let’s be honest: with his legendary love for animals, Martin would probably end up scratching the velociraptors behind the ears and make them purr! And that’s exactly why a remake with him
could never work. 😂”
