Welcome to my personal tribute to British actor Martin Clunes.
I am Simo Arshara, an Italian digital artist. In 2021, while watching Doc Martin, something unexpected happened: a spark.
Martin's talent not only entertained me, but triggered a chain reaction of curiosity that led me to explore his body of work, discovering not only films and documentaries, but also his charity work, his love for animals, and a lifestyle deeply connected to nature.
I instantly became a big fan of his.
Browsing online, I noticed there was a surprising gap: there was a lot of digital art dedicated to Hollywood icons and rock stars... but almost nothing on Martin Clunes. And that didn't seem right to me. So I thought, “Okay, if it doesn't exist, why shouldn't I make it?”.
What started as a playful experiment with Photoshop soon became a real project: celebrating Martin's artistic career through digital art.
Each piece is my way of saying thank you, as a woman working in art, to a man who, completely unknowingly, started a new journey in my creativity work.
This collection continues growing, film after film, show after show, and I hope you enjoy exploring it as much as I enjoy creating it.

The dream...
Someone once said, “If you're going to dream, dream big”. And so, in my heart, I dream of a book - “Martin Clunes: A Career Through Art” - in which each of my artworks is paired with Martin's memories, anecdotes or reflections on that specific role or project.
For now, it is just a dream. But I hope that one day another dreamer, with the power to make it happen, will see its potential and brings it to life. After all, as Walt Disney said, ‘All dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them.’
